I love College Football, always have. Nothing like waking up Saturday morning and catching gameday before the day's slate of games starts. There are a couple teams I prefer to see win and a couple I prefer to see lose. I can remember going to games as a kid and even got see a game in Happy Valley when Joe Pa (he knew) was still coaching. Since those days I have been to some bigger P5 games and even a couple bowl games. When betting became more mainstream my alliances shifted more to the bets I make on the games rather than the teams themselves.
Some of our more distinguished contacts have been asking "why would someone so stupid be worth following for college football bets?" That's a valid question to ask about someone who made Van Wilder look like he just went for an associate’s degree. If sports betting was legal for the 10 years I was in college, I might still be there. I started gambling LEGALLY on college football in 2022. Since then, I have been above .500 in games picked.
Since gambling has become legal it has opened up other avenues besides gambling. One of those avenues is in employment. I have worked for a major sportsbook in the past as data scout. I can't disclose any other information due to privacy agreements and possible current employment status.
Also, I will always be open about my units per bet. WE DO NOT UNIT SHAME IN THIS GROUP! Some of you are betting more than me other of you are betting nickels, no matter what I want you to come out on top, whether that is plus 25 cents or plus $2,500. I don’t care what your unit is just please bet within your means and don’t cry to me that I forced you broke! My personal unit price is $20, I bet that price because I bet so many games a weekend. On some parlays I may bet less, but I never try to bet more than a unit on any game unless it's a legacy game or game of the week.
