Over 1 month into the 2025 CFB season!!
We are getting deep into the college football season, and it has been about a .500 season so far for Dusk Bets. Units gained is down due to some parlay losses and a bad Week 5. However, we have a long season ahead of us and conference play is just beginning. I am going to stick with my gut and do what I always do, bet my ass off.
As for the games themselves, we have had a few surprises both negative and positive. Georgia Tech and Ole Miss look good to start the year and pulled off some big wins. Clemson on the other hand has looked weak and not the team it used to be under Dabo. While Penn State and Texas have been free falling from their pre-season rankings.
Deeper in the G5 leagues we have a race for the G5 playoff spot. A couple early leaders for the spot are South Florida, Memphis, Old Dominion, and North Texas. It's a long season so who knows who rises and fades.
As for fades we have had some 'Mega Ass' teams and performances. This website and the email, for all who get it, might need a list or 2. Maybe, a MEGA ASS LIST to start. This List can range from teams, coaches, players, and who knows who else might make the list. It might turn into a weekly 'who is Dusk pissed at' list. I think paired with this list I will create a list of the top teams or the top vibes team. It's still a work in progress, but I want to highlight the good and the bad of this season.

Two great quarterbacks here, Rocco Becht and Brent Sorsby, who should be able to move the ball enough in what I believe will be a close game. With a close game, that will only push teams to score every drive.... hopefully.

Another under achieving team and QB in Texas. Arch still might be a good quarterback one day, but right now he needs to time to develop. I still believe in him to figure it out, but maybe that's because of his last name and not his athletic talent.

I got this number early, but I still think CMU can win by over a touchdown on the road against Akron. Akron is one of the worst rated teams in any metric across the country.
