Virgina Tech 24 Miami 17 1st Half, LOSS

The first time Miami doesn’t score over 20 in the first half was Friday. They had their opportunities though; QB Cam ward threw an interception in the endzone which cost us a cover. Tough beat, in a game that saw a wild finish.

(SAT 12:00) Navy (-3.5) @ UAB, Draft Kings

Navy 41 @ UAB 18, WIN

The servicemen treated UAB HC Trent Dilfer like he was Japanese Prime Minister Hideki Tojo. This one was never in doubt, Navy got out to a big lead and gave us a nice easy cover.

(SAT 12:00) Maryland @ Indiana (-6.5), Fan Duel

Maryland 28 @ Indiana 42, WIN

Indiana committed 4 turnovers in the game, however Maryland lost 2 of their top receivers during the game which stagnated their offense on a miserable weather day. Solid cover by “the Cig”. Might ride these boys every week.

(SAT 3:00) Texas State (-8.5) vs. Sam Houston, Fan Duel

Texas State 39 v. Sam Houston 40, LOSS

Texas State scores to go up 39-21 early in the 3rd quarter and then blows it. Texas State was stopped on 2 separate 4th downs by Sam Houston. It cost us the cover and Texas State the win. Also didn’t help the Sam Houston ran for almost 300 yards.

(SAT 3:30) Wisconsin @ USC (-14.5), Fan Duel

Wisconsin 21 @ USC 38, WIN

USC started slow but eventually got rolling and gave us a nice cover. QB Miller Moss lit up Wisconsin’s defense for over 300 yards and 3 touchdowns. USC outscored Wisconsin 28-0, after trailing 10-21 at the half. Good pick on this game.

(SAT 3:30) UMass @ Miami OH (total 46.5) UNDER, Fan Duel

UMASS 20 @ Miami OH 23, total 43, WIN

This game was 20-17 after UMass took the lead with under a minute to go, until Miami OH kicked the tying field goal as time expired from 47 yards out. Then in overtime after UMass had a touchdown called back which would have killed the under, UMass misses a field goal. Miami OH then responds by kicking another 40+ yard field goal to win the game. Wild ending to a shit game, but we covered.

(SAT 3:30) Oklahoma @ Auburn (total 46.5) UNDER, Fan Duel

Oklahoma 27 @ Auburn 21, total 48, LOSS

This one was tough because it looked like we were going to cover. Early in the 4th quarter Oklahoma QB Mike Hawkins hits a long bomb for a TD and then Oklahoma’s defense gets a game winning pick-6 late in the game. These two big plays killed our under.

(SAT 3:30) Eastern Michigan (-14.5) @ Kent State, Fan Duel

Eastern Michigan 52 @ Kent State 33, WIN

I know none of you were able to watch this game, but it was one we didn’t have to because it was an easy cover. EMU led by 7 at the half and then opened it up in the second half. Nice to have games like these you don’t even have to watch or think about, and they end up covering.

(SAT 7:00) Tulsa @ North Texas (-6.5), Fan Duel

Tulsa 20 @ North Texas 52, WIN

This was another no sweat. North Texas jumped out to a huge lead and coasted it home. Easy cover.

(SAT 10:00) Washington State (+7.5) @ Boise State, Fan Duel “Aug Dog of the Week”

Washington State 24 @ Boise State 45, LOSS

This one was just a bad pick. Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty is a beast! He ran all over Washington State. They looked like children trying to tackle Jeanty. Boise State might be the G5 team in the playoff.
