Week 2 Review

(FRI 7:00) BYU (+12.5) @ SMU, Fan Duel

BYU 18 @ SMU 15 WIN

Fucking Auggie comes in with his first pick and gives us a win. This one was never in doubt just like Auggie making a comment that will make everyone laugh, but also have him suspended without pay. This guy does two things well, picking underdogs and making people feel uncomfortable. Hopefully he sticks to the underdogs this season, Thank Auggie!

(FRI 9:00) Duke @ Northwestern (total 37) UNDER, Draft Kings

Duke 26 @ Northwestern 20 (total 46) LOSS

If any of you stayed up to watch this game with me, First, God Bless and then get a Psych evaluation because if you were already insane enough to watch this dog shit game, then the outcome here could compete for bad beat of the year. Duke missed a tying field goal with 5 minutes left only to be gifted another opportunity as time expired to tie the game at 13 to send it to OT. Both teams scored a TD and the under was dead right there. Id bet the under again if this game was replayed, just an awful beat for us on a Friday

(SAT 12:00) Pittsburgh @ Cincinnati (total 63) UNDER, Draft Kings

Pittsburgh 28 @ Cincinnati 27 (total 55) WIN

We saw this a mile away. Both teams came off high scoring week 1 games against inferior opponents. I didn’t think the line was correct for this game by a wide margin. Cincinnati started fast but eventually slowed down, and when they stalled Pittsburgh put some points up to win, but not enough to hit the over. Even with the offenses moving the ball, missed field goals and interceptions helped cash this under.

(SAT 12:00) Texas (-6.5) @ Michigan, Bet Rivers

Texas 31 @ Michigan 12 WIN

Our scout down in Austin gave us a great read on this game. Texas was the better team by far and it truly showed at QB. Ewers looked fantastic in the game and Texas defense kept Michigan in check all game. Good cover for us.

(SAT 3:30) Michigan St @ Maryland (total 44) OVER, Bet MGM

Michigan St 27 @ Maryland 24 (total 51) WIN

This was another total I didn’t think was accurate. Michigan St looked awful week 1 but I knew their offense could put up some numbers, with QB Aidan Chiles. In the game he had 3 TD’s and 3 INT’s. He will put up points every week but also give the opposing team a chance to score with his turnovers. Maryland is who we thought they were, an average Big 10 team.

(SAT 3:30) Iowa St @ Iowa (-3), Fan Duel

Iowa St 19 @ Iowa 20 LOSS

Fuck the state of Iowa, damn cornfuckers. Iowa blew this game so badly you would think they were practicing oral sex for the first time. QB Cade McNamara for Iowa played terrible. He was outplayed in the second half tremendously by Iowa St’s Rocco Becht. Good for Iowa State on a well fought win for HC Matt Campbell. Fuck Iowa, awful loss.

(SAT 6:00) South Alabama (-2) @ Ohio, Draft Kings

South Alabama 20 @ Ohio 27 LOSS

This was a bad pick. I didn’t realize Gio Lopez was hurt and still recovering from his injury in week 1. I should have never made this pick. South Alabama is not as explosive without him. Even so they kept it close. I did not expect Ohio to play like they did, especially their QB Navarro. He led the Bobcats to a nice victory.

(SAT 7:00) San Jose St (+5.5) @ Air Force, Fan Duel

San Jose St 17 @ Air Force 7 WIN

Coach Ken and San Jose St played some great defense and kept Air Force in check all game. The defense looked great and won this game for the Spartans. QB Brown for San Jose St played well too, hitting a nice deep ball for a touchdown. Great pick!

(SAT 7:30) Colorado @ Nebraska (-7) Bet Rivers

Colorado 10 @ Nebraska 28 WIN

This game went exactly how we thought it would. Nebraska bullied Colorado on both sides of the line of scrimmage. Big #0 Nash Hutmacher for Nebraska had a game causing havoc in Shedeur’s face all game. Colorado spiraled and since they are an undisciplined team, they just kept spiraling. Deion has got to get a grip on this team, otherwise they are in for another long season.

(SAT 7:30) Houston @ Oklahoma (-28.5), Fan Duel

Houston 12 @ Oklahoma 16 LOSS

This was another bad pick. Oklahoma looked awful on offense after their first drive, a drive they scripted all week. Their defense played well enough to cover, but their offense just kept stalling at mid-field. Just a bad pick all-around.

(SAT 10:00) Texas Tech @ Washington St (-1.5), Fan Duel

Texas Tech 16 @ Washington St 37 WIN

This game went almost how we thought it would. I was expecting a little bit more scoring from Texas Tech, but Washington State scored their fare share of points. Washington state was led by QB John Mateer who had almost 200 yards rushing, 115 passing and 2 touchdowns. While Texas Tech gave the ball away 5 times in the first half. Washington State had this one under control the whole second half. Good pick.
