Florida State (-10.5) v Georgia Tech

FSU 21 v. GT 24, LOSS

Florida State traveled to Dublin to get treated worse than some of the locals after their spouse gets home from the bar. the worse unit on the field was actually FSU's Defense. Terrible attempts at tackling by FSU defense was a major key to the game. QB King played well enough for GT who ran all over FSU and dominated second half possession. FSU' s offense had no passing game downfield, which may have been caused by DJ U cranking it on the side lines:

SMU (-27) @ Nevada

SMU 29 @ Nevada 24, LOSS

SMU looked very pedestrian most of the game. I thought SMU QB's Preston Stone and Jennings would come out guns blazing but I was wrong. Credit to Nevada HC Jeff Choate and their defense. An impressive showing from the wolfpack, SMU was on the ropes all game but somehow stuck around and pulled it out. Not the impressive season debut many were anticipating for SMU.
