USC is traveling and should start slow on offense. Illinois defense will be looking to correct last week's awful game against Indiana. Both defenses should be able to keep this under 60.

Bad pick. After last week the way Illinois gave up points to Indiana, I should have known they would still give up a bunch to USC and even score a little more themselves. The game got close and kept pushing scores late, that never helps an Under.

I might go John Brown and burn Kansas. Jayhawks played little to no defense and were not the better team all day. They took the lead late but blew it in the last minutes.

West Virginia won the Backyard Brawl a couple weeks ago, but at what cost? They have a slew of injuries on an already depleted roster. Utah should role into Morgantown and rid themselves the feeling of last week.

I love QB Demond Williams for Washington paired with HC and play caller Jed Fisch. I think they can move the ball enough to keep this game close. Also, not too sure QB Julian Sayin will be ready for a road environment like this.

Hawaii, Air Force, and Disaster those three words haven't been uttered in the same sentence since... well, you know. Hawaii's young QB Micah Alejado looked good. Hawaii might be a team to back more often especially at home.

Look, I love Oregon HC Dan Lanning. He is one of the best HC in the country. Compare him to James Franklin for PSU and it's no match. However, this game is going to involve a lot more than the head coaches. My reasons for picking Penn State are this.... White-Out Saturday Night in Happey Valley, PSU is coming off the bye, PSU has one of the best coordinator combos in the country (Kotelnicki and Knowles) and finally revenge spot for PSU after last year's BIG10 Championship loss. If not this year for PSU and Franklin, then it may be never.

It won't be this year for PSU and Jame Franklin or ever. Dan Lanning is a stud, maybe the best HC in the country. Hot Take.... Penn State is closer to Iowa than it is to Ohio State or Oregon.
